Swim Center Pool Re-Opens

Everybody back in the pool!

The Boca Raton Swim Center's pool resurfacing project is complete, and Boca Raton community members are invited to come enjoy the water again.

Pools like the one at the Boca Raton Swim Center need to be resurfaced every decade or so to prevent leaks and ensure public safety.

The project began in mid-January. Completed on schedule and on budget, the pool officially welcomed swimmers back into the water on Saturday, March 15.

Open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Swim Center pool is 25 yards long and offers six swimming lanes, making it suitable for laps, training, or even casual use.

It’s temperature-controlled—heated in the winter and cooled in the summer—to stay between 80 and 83 degrees, ensuring year-round enjoyment.

Beyond the main pool, the Swim Center offers a heated kiddie pool, a spa, and a splash pad with a playground area that caters to families and younger swimmers.

Aquatic chair lifts that meet ADA regulations for accessibility offer assistance in entering and exiting the main pool and the spa.

Kickboards, noodles and life vests are available, and visitors can use the deck furniture during operating hours. Locker rooms and showers are on-site.

The staff holds American Red Cross certifications in lifeguarding, first aid, CPR/AED, water safety instruction, and emergency oxygen administration. Some instructors also have special needs water certification, which supports swim lessons for diverse groups.

The community-oriented pool can be enjoyed via a daily pass or membership. It can even be the site of private parties for up to 40 people.
